Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expects that this Friday, the Parliament will pass the resolution regarding the deputies holding several offices.
Giving interview to Channel 5 on Friday, V. Lytvyn announced that the Parliamentary Committee on Standing Orders had discussed termination of the authorities of the Deputies who continued to work in the executive power bodies, and submitted relevant appeals to the Committee.
The Head of the Parliament also informed that he has forwarded an appeal to the court regarding the Deputies holding several offices who had not written such appeals. "It is the task of the court to deal with these people", he added.
"It is necessary to observe the Constitution of Ukraine that prohibits holding several offices", V. Lytvyn declared.
He added that blocking of the work of the Parliament coincided with the day, when these issues were to be put on the agenda." "I have no doubts in certain agreements on this point", V. Lytvyn admitted.
